How Does Aldi Instacart Work?
When you place an order with Aldi through Instacart app or website, you receive a message or email confirming your order is under process.
After you place an order, Aldi connects you to a grocer who shops for the items in your place.
Aldi appoints a grocer whose job is to assemble all the items in your order. Customers can track the progress of the shoppers on the app.
When your shopper begins shopping for the items, you receive another confirmation notification. If something comes up, Aldi shoppers will inform you about it and ask for your suggestion. You can communicate with the shopper using the chat feature.
Aldi is always trying its best to ensure all the items are in stock for customers to buy. Buyers are requested to keep their phones close to them in case an item is out of stock for the time being.
Aldi shoppers will message you if an item is out of stock, and you can tell them what to do next.
This option allows buyers to let the shopper know if they can get a substitute item or request a refund on the item.
Aldi shoppers often take about 30 to 120 minutes to get all your items in one place. For instance, if you set your grocery pickup for 6 pm and your designated grocer begins in the afternoon, you don’t need to worry about your order getting late.
Moreover, Aldi shoppers store all your items safely and give special treatment to more vulnerable items such as frozen foods.
You will have a designated parking spot for grocery pickup where the shopper will bring your items. You can let the store know you’ve arrived, and they will bring your order to the spot.
