What is Amazon Hub?
Amazon Hub is a service that allows you to pick up your Amazon packages at certain locations, either through Amazon Locker or Amazon Counter.
They offer both Locker and Counter services. When you make a purchase on Amazon, you select the hub location as your shipping address. Your item will be shipped to the hub location, where you can pick it up. This offers a secure option for customers who are not available to receive packages at home.
How does Amazon hub work?
You can use Amazon hub by adding nearby Amazon hub locations to your address list. When you select shipping options for your order, select the option to have your package shipped to the hub location.
After you place an order for an item to be shipped to Amazon hub, you will wait for the item to be shipped to the hub. Amazon will send you a barcode to use to retrieve your package. If your item is in an Amazon Locker, you’ll enter the code to get into the corresponding locker. If you’re using Amazon Counter, an employee will scan your barcode and retrieve your package.
Is Amazon hub locker faster than home delivery?
No. Amazon’s delivery times depend more on the delivery speed option you select upon checkout.
In some cases, you may get packages faster at an Amazon Hub. However, Amazon Hub is mostly helpful for having items shipped to a secure location when you won’t be available to receive packages. It can also be an option if you cannot have packages shipped to your home address.

Because hub lockers are completely self-serve, they can be accessed at any time of day. Because most locker locations are inside of local businesses, the hours you can access the lockers depends on the business location’s hours of service. Although the lockers can be accessed with a barcode at any time, they cannot be accessed if the host store they’re in is closed.
Why are some items not eligible for Amazon locker?
Some items are not eligible for Amazon locker because of the limitations on size and weight. For safety reasons, hazardous materials and high price items cannot be retrieved from an Amazon locker.
The biggest drawback to Amazon locker is that logistically, not all items can be shipped to locker locations. Because the lockers are small, large boxes cannot be placed in the lockers. Heavyweight items may also be excluded, especially if the item is more than 20 pounds. Other items cannot be shipped to locker locations because the items have hazardous materials. For safety, these items cannot be shipped to a locker location.
Amazon also does not place items worth more than $5000 within the locker. High-priced items should be sent to your home or work address when someone is available to sign for them.
Can UPS deliver to Amazon hub?
Yes, UPS delivers to Amazon hub locations. Amazon hub allows any postal service carrier to deliver packages to Amazon hub. However, they only accept packages that are from Amazon. Because Amazon supplies the barcode that allows customers to access the lockers, only Amazon packages can be placed within the lockers.
Can someone else pick-up Amazon locker?
Anyone can pick up your package from Amazon Locker, as long as they have the barcode that’s used to access the locker.
Amazon does not require you to show ID when picking up items from Amazon hub locations. If you have someone else pick up your package, make sure they have the code they need to get into the locker. Anyone with the correct code information can pick up a package from an Amazon hub location.

How long can an item stay in Amazon locker?
An item can stay in Amazon Locker for up to three days. If you don’t pick up your item within three days, it will be shipped back to Amazon. If you cannot make it to the locker within three days, you can contact Amazon customer support and they may extend your locker time for you.
What happens if Amazon locker is full?
If all of the lockers are full at an Amazon Hub location, the postal service will attempt to deliver your package again the following day.
When the lockers are full, the postal service will hold the package and attempt to deliver it the next day. If multiple attempts are made to deliver your package, Amazon may contact you to change shipping locations.

How do I return to Amazon hub locker?
If you have to use the Amazon Hub Locker to make a return, submit a request and follow the instructions on Amazon’s website.
After you’ve submitted your request for return, Amazon will send you instructions for returning your package through Amazon Locker. You will be given a code that gives you access to an empty locker. After you package your item to be returned, go to the location and find the correct locker name. Enter your code and leave the item in the correct locker. You may be asked to confirm your return on Amazon’s website after you drop off your item.
Can you send non Amazon packages to Amazon locker?

Your time may be extended to pick up an item from Amazon Locker if you contact Amazon’s customer support. This may be helpful in emergency situations, such as weather emergencies.
