Can You Use EBT for Walmart Pickup?

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) is the program formerly known as food stamps. Walmart accepts EBT cards for purchases at all of its locations.

EBT cards are the same as your debit card, and they can be used to pay for purchases at the same time at the participating locations.

In 48 states, EBT cardholders can also pay for pickup and delivery orders. You can use EBT for pickup orders following the next few steps.

To add an EBT card to your Walmart account, go to the store’s website and click the “Pay with EBT” button.

You’ll then be prompted to enter your card information. After clicking the Save Card button, you’ll be able to use your EBT card online with no-basket minimums.

If you’d like to have the no-basket minimums take effect immediately, please allow up to 24 hours. After completing your payment information, click the “Add to cart” button and proceed to checkout.

You will then see the total amount of EBT-eligible items that are in your cart. On the payment method screen, choose EBT to pay for your order.

You can enter the amount of money that you wish to use, and then choose a method that will allow you to split the remaining amount.

If your EBT funds can’t cover the entire order, you can split the remaining amount using a credit or debit card.

You can enter the amount of money that you wish to use, and then choose a method that will allow you to split the remaining amount. After completing the payment process, you’ll be sent an email with a link to complete your order.

Only eligible food can be purchased with SNAP benefits. Delivery fees and other charges associated with this program are not included in the cost of using SNAP benefits.

You can pay for the delivery using either your EBT cash or your credit or debit card.
