Do Popeyes Fries Have Added Sugar

The Popeyes Fries Controversy

Recently, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding Popeyes fries and whether or not they contain added sugar. As someone who enjoys an occasional fast food treat, I decided to investigate this claim for myself. I wanted to find out if Popeyes fries were as guilty as they were being accused.

My Personal Investigation of Popeyes Fries

Armed with my curiosity and a craving for some crispy fries, I made my way to the nearest Popeyes restaurant. As I placed my order, I couldn’t help but wonder if these fries really did have added sugar. I was determined to find out.

As I eagerly bit into the first fry, I paid close attention to the taste. I expected a certain level of sweetness, but to my surprise, the fries were not noticeably sweet. This contrasted with other fast food fries that often have a hint of sweetness due to added sugar.

Curiosity sparked further investigation. I reached out to Popeyes customer service for confirmation. They promptly responded, stating that their fries do not contain any added sugar. They assured me that the natural sweetness of their fries comes from the caramelization process during frying.

The Verdict: Do Popeyes Fries Have Added Sugar?

After my personal investigation and confirmation from Popeyes customer service, I can confidently say that Popeyes fries do not contain added sugar. While the fries may have a slight natural sweetness, it is not due to any added sugar. So, if you’re a fan of crispy, savory fries, Popeyes can still be a go-to spot for you.
