Does Publix have Free Curbside Pickup? Let’s Find Out

The motto of the present-day world is – ‘Time is of the essence’ and with the increasing demands of everyday life, less and less time is saved to do other tasks which, although, may be of importance but require more time than necessary.

One of such tasks is grocery shopping. It is an essential task yet time requires. Thus, to make things easier, online grocery shopping has been introduced so you could simply sit within the comforts of your home or office and your groceries will be delivered to your doorstep.

However, delivery charges are a burden on the pocket as not all places offer free delivery. The best alternative to this problem is to order your groceries online and pick it up from the curb.

Curbside pickup means the order will be delivered to your vehicle as you are passing by the grocery place you shopped from. Most places offer free curbside pickup.

Publix is a Florida based chain of supermarkets, which is now present at various places across the US.

Publix offers free curbside pickup to its customers who order from the supermarket via Instacart, a grocery company which offers pickup and delivery services across the US.

All you have to do is shop from Publix via Instacart and while checking out select curbside pick up.

However, one of the cons of using Instacart is that the store offers are not applicable on the website for most instances and the prices of items may vary and may be slightly higher on Instacart.

This is to cover the service costs of curbside pickup as no extra fee is charged for the service.

Next time you need to grab a few things from the grocery store and don’t have the time to go in and pick up the items yourself, simply place the order beforehand and schedule a pickup time according to your convenience.

Although a few extra bucks will be charged, you will be saved from the hassle of long queues and checking out.
