How Much to Tip Whole Foods Delivery? Here’s How Much

Life has gotten so much easier ever since online grocery was introduced. You can get everything at one click, including the Whole Foods delivery!

The Whole Foods delivery drivers put in extra work, so they should be tipped accordingly.

Whole Foods delivery drivers are no different from other grocery delivery drivers or pizza-delivery drivers.

Other than the fact that Whole Foods delivery orders are usually big, it would be like delivering a ton of pizzas.

Matt Maloney, the co-founder of Grubhub, recommends a minimum tip amount of $5 or 20%, as long as the service is good.

Keeping that in mind, they should be tipped 15% of your order. It is recommended that the tip should not be any lower than $5.

How much to tip Amazon-Whole Foods Delivery?

On the Amazon-Whole Foods website, it is stated:

“Contact-free delivery right to your door for a safe shopping experience and added peace of mind. Tipping is completely optional.

If you decide to leave a tip, the entire tip goes to your driver. You also have 24 hours to edit or change your tip after delivery.”

It is optional, as they said. But that doesn’t mean you should never tip. You ought to keep in mind the hard work that the whole foods delivery driver would put in to deliver your order.

Also, think of all the hassle you would be saved from, of going out, facing traffic, struggling to find a parking spot, and then shopping.

You can tip through your card during payment. Then according to your experience with the whole foods delivery driver, you can even change it within 24 hours!

So if you have had a bad experience, or the delivery was late, or anything that bothered you in general, you could cut down on the delivery tip within 24 hours of shopping.

Or if you had an outstanding experience, you could tip them more!

So here’s my take on how much you should tip delivery drivers and why!
