How to Enable Lyft Cash? Here’s How…

To enable Lyft cash, all you need to do is open the app menu after installing the Lyft app onto your phone or device.

When you open the app menu, you need to click on the payment option. Next, you need to tap the “+ add cash” option and select the amount you would like to add to your Lyft cash account.

Next, the auto-refill option would be turned on by default, and all you need to do is click on the checkout option.

Finally, you can select a payment method that you would prefer to use for your Lyft cash account and click on purchase.

You can add cash to your Lyft account to pay for your ride by using Lyft cash as a payment method. It can help you plan ahead and easily budget your Lyft ride.

However, the Lyft cash option is not available to all riders yet, including ones in Canada. To set up your Lyft cash account, you need to follow the above steps.

Your default payment method will be changed if your Lyft cash balance does not cover the ride’s total cost. But if you want your Lyft cash to cover the entire ride costs, you will need to add your balance by going to the payments tab and selecting the add cash option.

You can choose the payment method at the top left side of the screen and click done. The Lyft cash will not be used for lift charges such as lost and found fees, damage fees and gift cards.

You can add Lyft cash to your account or set up an automatic refill by setting up the auto-refill with additional cash to your account when your balance falls below $15.

Supported payment methods include credit card, debit card, prepaid card, bank account cash flow digital or retailer gift card, et cetera you cannot add your balance using commuter cards, Venmo, Apple Pay, google pay et cetera.
