How Does Hannaford Delivery Work?

How to order Hannaford online

Step 1: Go to Hannaford.com and click on ‘Shop’ and then click on ‘Departments‘.

Select the product category of your choice. We’ve chosen ‘Deli’ for the illustration.

Now select the appropriate sub category. We’ve selected ‘Deli Meat and Cheese‘. You should choose the appropriate one for your product.

Now click ‘Add to List‘ for the items you would like to order.

Hannaford delivery

After you have chosen the items, your order will be confirmed for delivery. You need to select a designated delivery date and time for your order. It’s incredibly easy and convenient. Moreover, the delivery fee is waived if you’re a buyer getting delivery for the first time.

You can select a time window that is convenient for you. Customers can tip the delivery person when they place an order online.

Hannaford charges a delivery fee of $10 on all orders except for your first one. The company leaves it up to the customer to decide if paying a service fee of $10 and gratuity is worth it.

Also, Hannaford’s delivery windows are limited, so it’s advised to place your order in advance. Placing an order a day in advance is recommended.

On the other hand, some high-demand items might be out of stock when you order. In this case, you can always ask for potential substitutes.

Step 1: Add your Address in your Instacart account and search for ‘Hannaford’ in search box.

Note: Instacart will now show Hannaford links if your address is not in an area Hannaford Supermarket operates. It will be grayed out and you won’t be able to select anything. If you want to deliver to your loved ones, just add/change your delivery address to theirs (shown below) and you will be able to access hannaford Supermarket items in Instacart.
