How Does Wegmans Delivery Work?

Instacart powers Wegmans’ delivery service. Instacart has earned its spot as one of the most reliable and recognizable third-party platforms that help grocers deliver their items to customers who prefer online shopping instead of in-store visits.

Customers can opt for Wegmans delivery by visiting the Wegmans website or app. The app is on both iOS and Android devices.

If you wish to order from Wegmans, your order must be a minimum of $35 at least. The cost of Wegmans delivery service starts at $3.99. Wegmans has provided customers the option to tip if they’re financially able.

However, tipping is always encouraged, even if it’s a small amount.

On the other hand, customers who have a Shopper’s Club account can use coupons online. When it comes to EBT cards, Wegmans isn’t accepting any of those as of now.

How to Order Wegmans Delivery Online?

Ordering Wegmans delivery from their homepage is fairly easy and straight forward process. Let’s dive into it. Go to Wegmans website and if you have an account with Wegmans already, click sign in.

You’ll be presented with the sign in form like below.

If you don’t have an account, click ‘Create an Account’ and you’ll be taken to this page to sign up:

Fill it up and you’re good to go. Once done with the sign up process let’s login and start shopping. Start by selecting the appropriate category or by searching for the food from the search box.

If you haven’t selected already, Wegmans website will present you with this pop up box like below. Select ‘Delivery’ as we’re going to order Wegmans delivery.

You can also go to this popup box if you would like to select ‘curbside pickup’ or ‘in store pickup’ by clicking on the box found at the left of shopping cart button. Now let’s start shopping, select the appropriate category or departments for the food you’d like to order for delivery.

Add the products you would like to purchase by clicking on the ‘+’ sign found on top right corner of each product image. You can also add the item to your favorites list by clicking on the heart icon found bottom right corner of the product image.

Once you think you’re done with the product selection, click on the shopping cart icon found on top menu.

Wegmans shopping cart will slide in from the left. You can increase or decrease quantity, add a note and remove the product from the shopping cart.

Done with editing your order? Great, let’s click on that red ‘Go to checkout’ button found right below the shopping cart list. Wegmans website will take you to the checkout page. Add your delivery address. and click ‘save’. This will take you to the next option.

Choose the delivery time you think is the most suitable to receive the order. Just selecting an appropriate time will take you to the next option.

You can add a delivery instruction for this order. Or if you simply want the delivery guy to leave the order on your door step, just check ‘Leave at my door’ option.

Provide your mobile phone number and click save. Add your payment method (credit or debit card) in the next option.

You can either go with the default delivery tip selected by Wegmans or you can set a different amount for the delivery tip. Take a look at the fees breakdown to see if it’s all good. Click ‘Place order’ to pay for the order and get the delivery.

Once Wegmans processed the payment you’ll be contacted via your cell phone before Wegmans deliver your order.

How Does Wegmans Home Delivery Work?

When you place an order with Wegmans using the website or app, an Instacart personal shopper is connected to you to collect and deliver your order to you. The shopper will be in touch with you at all times and will let you know if an item on your order is currently out of stock.
