How Long Does it Take to Get Approved for Instacart?

In this article we are going to talk about how long does it take to get approved for Instacart so without further ado, let’s start.

The procedure of getting an Instacart account is quite simple. The first step is downloading the Instacart app on your mobile device. Here’s the link to download Instacart shoppers app for Android and here’s the link to download in your iPhone.

The first screen that will appear on the app will ask for your ZIP Code so that your area can be identified.

After adding your ZIP Code, the options of the various areas where you can shop will appear on the screen.

Note that these will be areas that are near your vicinity. Options can include Costco, price rite, Petco, Wegmans, et cetera.

Now you will be required to click the store that you want to shop on, and after you do that, the option of creating an account will appear.

You will have the option of creating your account through your email and your Apple ID, or you can even continue with Facebook or Google.

After adding your information, you can enable notifications on the next screen if you want to receive updates to your Instacart app.

Know your account is successfully made. You will need to add your personal info through the account settings option.

This will include your personal information, addresses, and payment methods. You need to add the correct email address and the correct residence so that your groceries can be delivered to you at the right place.

You will also be requested to add your phone number as well as create a password for your Instacart  account.

The processing of your provided information can vary considerably. But getting started with Instacart might only take up to a few days.

Although not always, after you sign up for Instacart, it may take from a few days to up to several months for the background check to cleared. There are instances where people had to wait several months before they have gotten approved for Instacart.
