Does HEB Charge for Curbside Pickup? Here’s How Much

You might be wondering, what is HEB? HEB is a private supermarket and provides its customers with the convenient facility of curbside pickup. That makes your shopping experience extremely simple and quick.

Yes HEB charges for curbside pickup. Here’s how much:

How much does HEB charge for curbside pickup?

HEB charges a flat $4.95 for the curbside pickup and this service is available in above 17 stores in the Austin area.

For the curbside pickup orders which were placed 2 days ago, no fees are charged. Plus, all curbside orders from home come with a $5 fee.

This is counted as the delivery charge. The payment is transferred through the official website of HEB or their trusty app.

There is no minimum purchase to get a curbside pickup and they are extremely fast as well. Not just in delivery but in their service.

The shopper has the freedom to change or remove certain items from the curbside order 4 hours before the pickup time. That means if you forgot to add something, you can do that easily 4 hours before the pickup time!

When a customer places an order on their website, they have to be presented in parking areas specified for the curbside pickup.

The customer chooses the time of delivery and texts the number given on the sign. This way the HEB staff are informed of your arrival. And then the grocery items are placed in the customer’s vehicle.

In case the customer is late to collect the order, the HEB staff will put your order at the right temperature until you are free to pick it up.
